About Consumer Trends. KENYA THRIVE APPLICATION FORM 2010

Consumer Trends (CT) is a management consultancy company specialising in Research and Enterprise development services. CT main clientele include:

  • Non Governmental Organisations
  • Government Ministries
  • Financial Institutions (Banks and Microfinance Institutions)
  • Donors and Donor Advisers and Agencies

At inception, CT offered its services to Kenyan based institutions. With continued provision of quality services, CT now has regular and key customers in the East African region including Rwanda and Burundi.

Since its formation in 2001, CT has enjoyed tremendous growth, constantly offering innovative services to support anti poverty projects either commercially or development based.   In the last five years, CT has curved a niche:

  • Gender based enterprise development (ILO partnership),
  • microfinance advisory work focussing on Microfinance Institutions and SACCOs (product development and operational management) and;
  • project based research (baseline surveys, monitoring and evaluation)

Consumer Trends growth strategy can be pinned down to commitment to understand and offer the highest quality services.  This has seen CT focus and apply more participatory approaches both in research and technical assistance projects.
